On 14 May 2025, Hub Net Zero, in collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), hosted the third and final session of its workshop series on Industrial Carbon Footprint Assessment and Reduction Using the KMUTT Carbon Management Platform. Held at Pullman Pattaya Hotel in Chonburi, the event was supported by the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office.
This workshop is part of a broader initiative to build the capacity of businesses in the EEC to transition toward low-carbon operations through technology deployment, skills development, and knowledge sharing. The final session drew 180 participants, offering a platform to enhance their understanding of carbon footprint management and explore practical tools for emissions assessment and reduction.

Key presentations covered topics such as Carbon Footprint for Organizations (CFO), strategies for reducing carbon emissions, and an introduction to the KMUTT Carbon Management Platform, delivered by experts from NSTDA, FTI, and iCube (Industrial Informatics & Intelligent Systems) – a leading provider of data automation solutions for manufacturing.

In the afternoon, the program featured one-on-one consultations, where participants received tailored advice from specialists representing FTI, TISTR, NSTDA, and KMUTT on carbon management strategies suited to their specific business contexts.
With the successful conclusion of this third workshop, the series has provided valuable capacity-building opportunities for businesses across the EEC. Through expert-led sessions, personalized consultations, and access to practical carbon management tools, the initiative has supported efforts to advance low-carbon operations in Thailand’s key manufacturing hub.
