Hub Net Zero Researchers Visit Pharmafac Plan Technology to Explore Collaboration

On 13 June 2025, a team of researchers and staff from Hub Net Zero, led by Prof. Dr. Navadol Laosiripojana, visited PharmaFac Plan Technology Company Limited in Pathum Thani. The visit aimed to foster knowledge exchange and explore opportunities for collaboration in advancing research, technology, and innovation.

The delegation comprised researchers from multiple academic and research institutions involved in a project focused on microalgae innovations for carbon capture and biochemical production. This initiative seeks to develop commercial algae-based carbon capture technologies by improving microalgae strains through synthetic biology, establishing sustainable cultivation systems integrating photovoltaic and nanobubble CO₂ technologies, and advancing biorefinery processes for high-value bioproducts and potential biofuel applications.

PharmaFac Plan Technology is a subsidiary of PharmaFac Group. The Group specializes in end-to-end engineering services for life sciences and healthcare industries, with expertise in cGXP-compliant facilities such as vaccine and biopharmaceutical manufacturing plants.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Pharma di Aqua, providing the delegation with firsthand insights into this advanced aquaculture system.
