On 23 May 2025, Hub Net Zero participated in the seminar “Advancing Transition Finance,” organized by TRIS Rating at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The event served as a platform to deepen understanding on fundraising for sustainability transitions and the ASEAN Transition Finance Guidance, supporting organizations’ pathways toward low-carbon, sustainable futures.
Representing Hub Net Zero at the seminar were Prof. Dr. Navadol Laosiripojana, Director of the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and Prof. Dr. Shabbir H. Gheewala, Head of the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Lab at JGSEE.
The seminar featured a keynote address by Mr. Paiboon Damrongwaree, Assistant Secretary-General for Fundraising, Securities and Exchange Commission, along with experts in sustainable finance from several renowned institutions. Prof. Dr. Shabbir H. Gheewala delivered a presentation titled “Illustrative Application of Transition Finance Guidance to Business Decarbonization Strategies in Thailand.”
