King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) has strengthened its support for Thailand’s transition to a low-carbon economy with the official accreditation of its Center for Greenhouse Gas Management (CGM) at the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE) as a Validation and Verification Body (VVB) by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO).
This accreditation marks a significant milestone, enabling CGM-JGSEE KMUTT to provide comprehensive greenhouse gas validation and verification services for both Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) assessments and Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) projects. These services will help Thai organizations enhance the credibility of their greenhouse gas reporting and carbon reduction initiatives while advancing toward their net-zero goals.
Validation and verification services for greenhouse gas reduction projects under Thailand’s Standard T-VER and Premium T-VER schemes are available for the following scopes and sectors:
- Energy industries
- Manufacturing industries
- Waste handling and disposal
- Afforestation and reforestation
- Agriculture
Validation and verification services for CFO are available for the following scopes and sectors:
- Power generation and electric power transactions
- General manufacturing industries
- Waste handling and disposal
- General activities
Through these accredited services, CGM-JGSEE KMUTT is committed to supporting Thai organizations in their transition toward sustainability.
